Updates
Happy days, £20 voucher on way to me.
Getting back on the bike cycling to work is paying off 😊
Using the rewards i have earned through this scheme- I just bought 100 Beryl minutes for £12! Thanks very much!
The kids decided we should walk from park to park today instead of driving!
They are getting inspired too...
I take my bike regularly over the Cremyll ferry and up to work but I've been trying to cycle via Torpoint to build up fitness and save money so my goal is to up the number of journeys the 'long way round' throughout July 😊
Logging my journeys is really making me think about how I travel.
School drop offs and pick ups without the car... has meant I spend more time with the children talking as we walk to and from school. Plus, they are getting more exercise too!
Walking this week has not only enabled me to save fuel costs, I have also saved time at peak traffic times. Plus gained so much exercise by travelling actively.
I took the train to Alston to launch myself on the way to Launceston. Nice castle, well worth the visit. I cycled all the way home via Tavistock. Nearly ran out of juice; should have carried my spare battery. Whoops!
As a retiree I tick off the Dartmoor 365's, today I went up to Little Trowlesworthy Tor to bag T7 - fresh air and good weather & feeling good about my health!
